Introduction to YRT turntable bearings

YRT turntable bearings are a type of rotating mechanism with outer ring rotation and inner ring support. They are mainly divided into three series: YRT type, YRTS type, and YRTM type. These three series of bearings have the same installation dimensions, but there are differences in internal structure and similar performance. The YRT series bearings are composed of three rows of rollers (as shown in the figure on the right), with two rows of axial rollers ensuring stable axial bearing capacity, and one row of radial rollers ensuring that the bearings can withstand radial forces and overturning moments, suitable for axial bearing rotary mechanisms. YRT turntable bearings are mainly used in the manufacturing industry of CNC machine tools. As its core component, the domestic demand for YRT series bearings still relies heavily on imports. The accuracy parameter standards of domestic YRT turntable bearings are also based on international manufacturers. Since entering the 21st century, especially with the launch of the national "High end CNC Machine Tool and Basic Manufacturing Equipment" special project, it has greatly promoted the development of the mechanical equipment industry, and the development process of "high-speed, precision, composite, and intelligent" machine tools has been further accelerated

Definition: A combination turntable bearing composed of two rows of axial rollers (bearing axial load) and one row of radial rollers (bearing radial load).

1. YRT type

The YRT bearing consists of a thrust/centripetal seat ring, a thrust/centripetal shaft ring, a thrust washer, two needle roller cage assemblies, and a set of centripetal cylindrical rollers. The seat ring and shaft ring have evenly distributed installation screw holes. This type of bearing has high axial and radial bearing capacity.

YRTS type (radial belt nylon retainer)

The radial rollers use nylon retainers to provide YRTS bearings with high limit speeds and low stable friction torque, making them suitable for engines with torque.

3. YRTM type (including steel grating measurement system)

YRTM is a bi-directional thrust cylindrical roller YRT combination bearing equipped with steel grating ruler, which realizes real-time monitoring and adjustment of the rotation accuracy of the bi-directional thrust cylindrical roller combination bearing to ensure high-precision operation of the machine

Product Usage

YRT bearings have suitable axial and radial load-bearing mechanisms. High tilt stiffness and extremely high precision, suitable for rotary workbenches, chuck and iron blade, as well as bearing configurations in measurement and experimentation. This type of bearing also has high requirements for matching equipment parts. Control the tightening torque of the installation screws during installation. Mainly used in high-precision CNC turntables, indexing heads, military radars, aviation, aerospace, and measurement and testing fields that require high precision.

Design and installation

1. The requirements for the matching structure are shown in the figure on the right. During transportation, the fixing screws protect the bearing parts. In order to facilitate centering installation, the fixing screws can be loosened during installation. After installation, the fixing screws should be tightened again or preferably replaced with positioning screws.

2. L-section ring can be installed with or without additional support ring 2

a. Without support ring, bearing code YRT

b. The bearing code YRT... VSP, which uses an L-section ring to support the ring, requires the entire surface of the L-section ring to be supported.

3. Assembly force can only be transmitted through the installed bearing ring and cannot be transmitted through the rolling element.

4. The positioning screws should be tightened with a torque wrench in a cross pattern, as shown in Figure 2.

5. Do not separate or exchange bearing parts for installation and disassembly.

6. The starting friction torque is 3-3.5 times the bearing friction torque listed in the dimension table.
