Deep groove ball bearing with seals or shields

Single row deep groove ball bearings with seals or shields are particularly versatile, have low friction and are optimized for low noise and low vibration, which enables high rotational speeds. They accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, are easy to mount, and require less maintenance than many other bearing types. The integral sealing can significantly prolong bearing service life because it keeps lubricant in the bearings and contaminants out.Integral sea

Knowledge and introduction of bearings    :

A bearing puller tool set is an essential tool in mechanical maintenance and repair, designed to remove bearings from rotating machine shafts or blind bearing holes efficiently and safely. Here's a detailed introduction to bearing puller tool sets:

  1. Functionality:

    • Bearing pullers are used to extract bearings from components like shafts, axles, or housings during maintenance or repair procedures. They function as mechanical leverage devices, applying force and precision to safely disengage the bearing from its mounted position without causing damage.

  2. Types of Bearing Pullers:

    • Bearing Splitter Plates: These are considered pushers rather than pullers, as they use wedges to push and pop bearings off the shaft. They consist of two half plates held together by screws, which, when tightened, apply upward thrust on the inner race of the bearing.

    • Two and Three Arm Bearing Pullers: These are the most common types, with arms that have fingers to get behind the bearing's race. The center screw of the puller is torqued to push on the shaft, applying upward thrust to the bearing's race. These pullers can accommodate various bearing and shaft sizes due to interchangeable arms and fingers.

    • Internal Bearing Pullers: Designed to extract bearings, bushings, or sleeves from blind holes. They resemble small dent pullers with a slide hammer along the shaft to apply upward thrust and shock to the bearing. The collet, the part that goes into the bearing, is expandable and can be locked inside the bearing or bushing.

  3. SKF Internal Bearing Puller Kits:

    • The SKF Internal Bearing Puller Kits are designed for dismounting bearings from housings where the fit is on the outer ring. They are constructed for strength and durability and suit a wide range of bearing bore diameters. A sliding hammer allows high impact forces to be applied, and the design is ergonomic to enhance user safety.

    • TMIC Series: Features an expandable collet design made of high-strength materials, suitable for applications with limited space to grip behind the bearing. It fits bearing bores between 7-28 mm and comes in a sturdy carrying case.

    • TMIP Series: This series has a special design that can reduce dismounting time. The spring-loaded extractors can be quickly fitted to the inner ring. The claw design provides a strong grip behind the inner ring, allowing a high puller force to be applied. There are three different kits to suit bearing bores between 7-28 mm, 30-60 mm, and 7-60 mm. They also come in a sturdy carrying case.

  4. Advantages:

    • Bearing puller tool sets contribute to the longevity of machinery by enabling seamless bearing replacement and enhancing overall operational efficiency. They are indispensable in industries like automotive, manufacturing, and machinery maintenance.

  5. Selection Guide:

    • When selecting a bearing puller, consider the type of bearing, the size of the bearing, and the specific application requirements. The puller should be able to accommodate the bearing size and type, and it should be designed for the specific removal process, whether it's from a shaft or a blind hole.

Bearing puller tool sets are crucial for their ability to remove bearings without causing damage, ensuring precision and efficiency in maintenance tasks. They come in various designs to suit different bearing sizes and types, making them versatile tools in the field of mechanical engineering and equipment maintenance.
