Radial spherical sliding bearing
Radial spherical sliding bearings consist of an inner ring with a convex spherical outer surface and an outer ring with a corresponding concave spherical inner surface. This design is particularly suitable for bearing configurations that require the following conditions to be met: they must be able to withstand misalignment between the shaft and the bearing seat, or they must be able to perform reciprocating oscillation, periodic tilting, or rotary motion at relatively slow sliding speeds, usually under heavy loads.
YOI offers a variety of radial spherical sliding bearings with various combinations of sliding contact surfaces.

Angular contact spherical sliding bearing
Angular contact spherical sliding bearings are spherical and have a certain inclination angle with the bearing axis. This design makes it particularly suitable for bearing combined radial and axial loads. A single angular contact spherical sliding bearing can only withstand axial loads in one direction and can be separated, allowing for the installation of individual rings.
YOI produces maintenance free GAC series steel to PTFE fiber reinforced nylon sliding contact surface combination single acting angular contact spherical sliding bearings. Other designs and series are available on demand.
Thrust spherical sliding bearing
Spherical sliding thrust bearings have convex spherical surfaces on the shaft ring and corresponding concave spherical surfaces in the seat ring. This type of bearing is mainly suitable for bearing axial loads, but can also withstand combined axial and radial loads. The radial load component of the combined load should not exceed 50% of the axial load component. If the radial load is large, thrust bearings should be used in combination with GE size series radial bearings.
Spherical sliding thrust bearings are separable, meaning that the shaft and seat rings can be installed separately.
YOI produces maintenance free GX series steel to PTFE fiber reinforced nylon sliding contact surface combination standard spherical sliding thrust bearings. Other designs and series are available on demand.
Rod end joint bearing
The rod end joint is composed of a hole shaped top with an integral rod handle, forming the rod end seat of a spherical sliding bearing. Mainly used at both ends of hydraulic or pneumatic pistons, to combine oil cylinders with related components.
Timson offers various standard rod end joint bearings, with rod end seats designed with different threads and handles for easy installation. The combination of various sliding contact surfaces of bearings makes the rod end joint bearing suitable for various operating conditions.
According to the requirements, Timson can also produce rod end joint bearings designed with SKF Explorer steel to steel (with the suffix of the model being ESX).
Various standard categories are described on subsequent pages.
