The NA roller chain idler sprocket unit is a guide and return unit for the roller liner chain and roller chain, which can compensate for chain tension caused by operation and provide smoother system operation under high loads and speeds.
The units to be installed include sprockets and deep groove ball bearings. The sprocket is made of high-strength steel, sintered iron, or plastic (polyamide). The sprocket made of plastic can provide extremely smooth driving and almost no noise, as the inner ring of the deep groove ball bearing extends on both sides, no other isolation rings are needed.
At KSR In the B0 series, the inner ring is located on the shaft through a locking ring. The bearing holes of this series have a positive tolerance, therefore, unprocessed shafts with ISO tolerance h9 can be used under moderate loads and speeds.
